1st DAY

THE ISLAND OF ŽIRJE TRATINSKA

After thorough instruction and the handover of the yacht you can start your vacation by heading out to sea towards the island of Žirje. You can start off your vacation by jumping into crystal-clear turquoise-blue water in the beautiful bay of Velika Stupica. In the afternoon then go just a few sea miles to the north to the fjord-like bay of Tratinska, to moor there at a buoy, and this place is a real insider tip. Here you can snorkel and dive to your heart's content. You can find mussels and various forms of marine life along the rocky coastline. An excursion to the hill on land is something not to be missed, from where you can view a grandiose panorama ll the way up to the Italian coast. Enjoy your dinner either on board on in the Tratinska konoba, with a splendid view over the bay and your yacht. The cuisine is typical for the country and very tasty; this is the ideal place in Croatia and within your holiday to enjoy the evening and recharge your batteries.

2nd DAY

KORNATI NATIONALPARK – LEVRNAKA

After having slept well, next morning you take the tender to the pointed part of the island on the other side of Žirje to have a coffee in the island capital of Muna and to buy freshly-baked bread, fresh fruit and vegetables for breakfast or later for lunch on board. In the late afternoon the journey continues in a northerly direction to the Komati national park. Continue sailing at a relaxed pace through the many strikingly beautiful small islands that are strung out like pearls. Once you have reached the Komati islands, head off on a course to the west across cross the narrows of the island of Piškera to come out onto the open sea.

The journey continues northwards at a comfortable tempo along the imposing rocky cliffs to the island of Levrnaka. On the north side of the island a splendid bay with crystal-clear water and buoys to tie up at are just waiting for you. If you had reserved in advance, you can also moor directly at the landing stage of the Levrnaka konoba. Here you can enjoy your first Sundowner and a delicious dinner on board your yacht. The truly excellent fish specialities here deserve a special recommendation.

Tip: Just a few metres further on, across the island, you find a fantastic beach. Here you can swim and bathe to your heart's content and make full use of the water toys on board.

3rd DAY

DUGI OTOK – BAY OF SAKARUN

The tour continues on the next morning to the north along the island of Dugi Otok. Here you can find all sorts of beautiful bays that are perfect for a bathing and swimming stop. There also more and more small konobas in the bays, sometimes hidden. Since the Komati islands in particular are still rich in fish and seafood, connoisseurs of fish dishes will be in heaven here.

After travelling for three hours you will reach the bay of the Sakarun at the northernmost point of Dugi Otok. The blue lagoon offers a perfect, flat sandy beach in addition to crystal-clear water. It is also just ideally suited for your children to splash around in the water and to have fun. Here there are stylish lounges, cactuses and palms that will give you a real feeling of summer and help you to forget the mundane everyday world. Pick out a nice place to anchor and enjoy the splendid scenic backdrop.

Depending on the weather, you can either spend the night at anchor in the bay of Sakarun or else sail the short section to the nearby sheltered Veli Rat marina. Here you can find a harbour with safe berths that are sheltered against the weather, good options for shopping, and two lovely little restaurants. In the evening you can get to know Veli Rat and then return safely to your boat. A sight that really must be seen is the 42 metre high lighthouse of Veli Rat, which is the highest in the Adriatic and so is worth a visit in any case.

4th DAY

KORNATI – KATINA

Our recommendation for next morning is to first of all make a stop at the sunken wreck of the ship Potonuli brod S. Michele at the island of Otok Veli Lagan. Since it is only 4-5 metres deep, this place is just perfect for snorkelling. A few parts of the wreck stick out of the water. All kinds of fish swim around here and there is hectic action underwater. We recommend that you do not arrive too late in the morning, since the place is not sheltered and the seas can be become increasingly rough in the afternoon.

Take your time and travel at a comfortable pace through the fantastic island world of the Komati islands in a southerly direction. Today the motto is: "the journey is the goal,"„let yourself be enchanted by the Komati islands on the way to the island of Katina and anchor there, you can go bathing, swimming and dining wherever it most pleases you. The inner side of the Komati islands is very popular, here you are certain to chance upon some super-yachts where you might well find or more very famous persons.

SALZSEE LAGO MIR

SALT LAKE OF LAGO MIR

Alternatively, you can also head for the salt lake of Lago Mir. This is located in the Telašćica nature park on the south-eastern edge of the island of Dugi Otok. There are the impressive high cliffs and the salt lake in the nature park. Bathing is permitted in the salt lake, but it is not exactly easy to get to it due to the slippery rocks.

After a relaxed day full of unforgettable impressions, you will reach the small island of Katina in the later afternoon, located at the northern end of the island of Komat. Between the two island there is a very quiet place where you can moor safely, protected from wind and weather.

Inside the bat the Mare konoba with its excellent Dalmatian cuisine awaits you. Once you have firmly secured your yacht to the mooring lines, you can look back on the impressions of the day over a good dinner. However, it is most definitely advisable to reserve a place in advance.

5th DAY

ŽUT

KONOBA BAIN

KONOBA BAIN

Before you continue your tour, enjoy a solid breakfast and start the day completely relaxed, because relaxation is on the program for today. Sail out and anchor at the place that you like best. Use the tender and the SeaBobs or have an active time with the water toys that are provided on board. If you start to feel hungry, set off for the island of Žut, which is just a few sea miles away to the north-east of Katina.

Fishing is permitted here for anglers, because Žut is no longer in the Komati national park in which fishing is strictly prohibited. On Žut you can moor at the ACI Marina Žut and prepare your freshly-caught fish on board or you can go instead to the mooring point of the Fešta restaurant. This is a well-known gourmet restaurant in this region. But we really do suggest that you reserve a place in advance. Another very good recommendation is the restaurant Koboba Bain. This offers typically Croatian dishes. Here the landing stage has room for a few yachts, or else you can anchor at the buoy and someone will fetch you. As its name implies, the konoba has a swimming pool and a high tower for water sports, which your children are sure to enjoy. Likewise, there are umbrellas and loungers to allow you to enjoy some relaxed hours on land.

6th DAY

SMOKVICA

Set off next morning in a northerly direction along the Komati islands until you reach the horseshoe-shaped island of Smokvica. The island just glows in lovely colours and is sure to appeal to you. On the west side of the island, head into the bay of Smokvica that opens out to the west. Here we recommend the Piccolo restaurant. Reserve in advance, since there are only a few mooring places where you can moor alongside or with the stern.

The place does not have many seats, it is only a small family restaurant. A special recommendation goes out for the brudet, a Dalmatian fish stew, or pepper steak from the clay pot.

7th DAY

THE ISLAND OF KAKAN

On the seventh and last day or your wonderful and memorable journey you go from Smokvica in the direction of the island of Kakan. You head from the north into a large bay that is protected against the wind and the waves by two small islands. Even as you come in to anchor, you will be enchanted by the play of colours of this lovely bay. Streaked with sandbanks that shimmer in glorious shades of turquoise, it as has to be one the most beautiful bays in Croatia.

Search for a free buoy over a sandbank and attach it firmly to the bow of your yacht, because you will spend the rest of the day and all night here at anchor. Enjoy the last day on your yacht with a splendid dinner at sunset and take a retrospective look at the vents of the week.
On the last you sail back to the home harbour at the Baotić marina in Seget Donji after having spent a wonderful week on board the Galeon 640 Fly, overwhelmed by the many good times on the water.
